'The Tempest' is one of William Shakespeare's most known plays and
we had a great time putting it together. The children who worked on The
Tempest under the age of 16 were able to work with the Royal
Shakespeare Company and perform at Exeter's Northcott theatre. This
however, could only last 30 minutes so as you can imagine, we had
lots of fun trying to trim down on time. When it came to performing
it at our school, we wanted it to last longer, so invited the 6th
form to do scenes which could then slot in between. This caused much
confusion for our audience, but I think we managed to pull it off
ok.
